Awards and Scholarships

In 2016 the Institute of Health Economics (IHE), in partnership with health economists from the Universities of Alberta and Calgary, and Alberta Health, developed two NOAHE Graduate Awards and two NOAHE Scholar Awards to build health economics capacity by bringing together aspiring health economists with policy leaders and researchers from academic, non-profit, and governmental sectors.

NOAHE Graduate Awards (Internships)

The NOAHE Internships provide successful recipients opportunities to gain practice-based experience working on either their own project of interest, and/or on projects identified by program sponsors as Alberta Health priorities (http://www.health.alberta.ca/about/vision-mission.html). This opportunity will be complemented by the mentorship of an academic supervisor from the University of Alberta or Calgary, a co-supervisor from IHE, and a sponsor at Alberta Health.
