Alberta Health Economics Study Group 2023
The Alberta Health Economics Study Group (AHESG) brought together Alberta-based health economists for a day of lively discussion with a focus on the research of students and early-career researchers. This event provided an excellent opportunity for students to present work to senior researchers and network with other students, researchers, and faculty.
The AHESG promoted a study group atmosphere despite large numbers. All papers were pre-circulated and discussed in 45-minute sessions using discussants rather than author presentations.
AHESG attendees were offered the following free of charge:
- Networking event on October 4, 2023.
- All day meeting, including keynote address on October 5, 2023.
- Lunch, and refreshments during the seminar
- Hotel accommodation (1 night)
- Round trip bus from Calgary to Edmonton for attendees travelling from Calgary.
